Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Gail Borden residence in Alhambra, [s.d.]. The single-story building is at center. Its roofline is elaborately decorated with small domes and carved moldings. Two covered porches can be seen, on e at left and one at center. Large archways lead into both. Rectangular windows are visible long the perimeter of the building. A dirt driveway curves around in front of the building in the foreground, and several trees can be seen in the front yard.

California Historical Society Collection, 1860-1960
Description
The California Historical Society Collection is incomparable for the documentary picture it provides of the growth of Southern California, particularly the development of the Los Angeles region, between 1860 and 1960. The collection contains more than 25,000 photographs. The full archive was placed on long-term deposit at USC in 1990 and includes the Title Insurance and Trust Company Collection, also known as TICOR, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Collection.
