Description
Photograph of two twenty-mule teams on Lancaster's Main Street, later Sierra Highway, ca.1900-1909. The mule teams are lined up on a dirt road in the foreground, facing to the left. A line of small, single-story wooden buildings runs parallel to the mules in the background. There are several tall trees visible, and the cupola of a tall building is visible in the distance at left.; Legible signs include, from left to right, "Antelope Valley Ledger Real Estate", and "Harry Davis General Blacksmith".
