Description
Photograph of a view of a wide dirt street in Avalon, ca.1900. The broad road is at center and runs from the foreground to the background at left. Many pedestrians can be seen standing in the road, including a large mass at center. A horse-drawn carriage can be seen in the foreground. Low wooden buildings line the street on both sides. A two-story building topped by a cupola can be seen in the distance at center. A line of tall hills runs across the image in the background.
