Description
Photograph of the old abandoned Baptist church in Latonville, ca.1900. At center a church built from what appears to be wooden planks is visible. There are three windows on the left wall while a door is visible on the front side. While the church appears to be one-story, a small staircase leads from the ground to the door since wooden planks elevate the church off of the ground. The roof is shingled and inclined while a steeple is visible on top. A dirt road runs across the front while tall trees are visible to the left, right, and behind the church. At the bottom left a pile of discarded dead tree branches and wood is visible. Photoprint reads: "Latonville - Old abandoned Baptist Church. Built 1889-90. Closed 1905".
