Description
Photograph of fish traps at a spawning station, Ukiah, California, ca.1910. The fish traps are located in the center of the lake (or river?). Three men sand on the platform around the traps. Three other men sit in a rowboat nearby. Minute amount of water vegetation and plants can be seen floating on the surface of the lake. Large branches from a barren tree (foreground) partially block the view of the mountains on the other side of the like. The silhouette of the mountains can be seen reflected in the lake.
