Description
Photograph of a panoramic view of Mission Street and Orange Grove Avenue in South Pasadena, 1874. The photograph, which shows only a handful of homesteads over a vast stretch of land, was taken at the time of the first colonists' purchase. Several fields appear to be arranged in crop rows at center. The mountains can be seen, faintly, in the background.
