Description
Photograph of the Avalon Congregational Church on Santa Catalina Island, [s.d.]. The church is a light-colored building with wooden siding, but because of the heavy tree cover, all that is visible is a bell tower and the floor of a covered porch. There are several eucalyptus trees on a gently sloping hill in front of the church. There is an entryway on the porch, and there is a ladder on the right side of the building. Hidden behind the trunk of a tree on the left side is a staircase leading to another door.
