Description
Photograph of the Old South Beach Plunge on Pico Boulevard and Ocean Front, later the Casa Del Mar Club on Santa Monica, Los Angeles, ca.1905-1908. A long, plank-made beach house with the word "Plunge" written on its side stands to the left of a sandy beach road, which is lined to either side by street lamps. To the right, a second beach shack sits, near the edge where the road drops off down to the beach. Trees are visible in the background to the left.
