Photograph of the Alpine Tavern on Mount Lowe, California, [s.d.]. In the background at left, a woman can be seen standing near the foot of the stairs leading up to the porch and entry of the building at right. Large trees obscure parts of the building which has a stone foundation. At center, a thick stump can be seen near a group of four large trunks. Small rectangular windows line the side of the building. The structure extends into the background.
