Description
Photograph of Abram Ontiveros (Ontivares) serenading his wife Petra outside of the Ontiveros (Ontivares) adobe, ca.1925. Abram, dressed in the costume of a caballero, is playing a guitar and staring up at Petra, who is leaning out of a second story window. On the covered porch of the adobe, there are chairs arranged as if to provide seats from which to watch Ontiveros (Ontivares), but they are all empty. There are two small American flags visible, one attached to a post supporting the roof, and the other inside the wooden framed doorway.
