Description
Photograph of the Los Angeles County Forestry Department train packing fire-fighting supplies over Dark Canyon toward the burning Tujunga Fire, 1925. Dirt and tangled plants lie beneath thick trees in the foreground while the fire fighters stand on a hill at center. One fire fighter leads the train on a horse on the left with seven horses behind him, two carrying other fire fighters and the rest carrying supplies. Trees lean over their path from the steep hill above them.
