Description
Photograph of military aircraft flying over the United Air Terminal in Burbank during the dedication of the airport, May 1930. At least twenty biplanes are flying in formation over the airport. There is a large formation of other airborne objects, possible distant planes, in the center. The airport terminal is at center and is a large rectangular building with a detached rectangular out building. A large crowd of spectators is gathered around the building. There is a water tower near the runway in the distance at right. The United Terminal later became the Lockheed terminal.
