Description
Photograph of the exterior of Hugo Reid's adobe, built in 1889, on land that would later be part of the Baldwin Ranch in Arcadia, [s.d.]. There are two wood-framed screen doors, one of which is open, and two shuttered windows visible on the adobe walls of the house. The porch is covered by wooden beams that jut out from the flat roof and are supported by wooden scaffolding-like posts. Above the house there are many tree branches, which block most of the sky from view. On the ground in front of the house, there are several tall bushes, some of which have no leaves, while surrounding the porch is a very neat line of rocks.
