Description
Photograph of a birdseye view of Beverly Park in Beverly Hills, 1918. In the foreground is a residential block, composed of several large mansions with elaborately landscaped yards. Behind this is an open grass field lined with trees. The streets in this neighborhood do not follow a grid pattern: they intersect at unusual angles and many are very curvy, but they are all tree-lined. In the background, there are more empty fields.
