Description
Photograph of abandoned wheel chairs at Saint Marks Hospital after the earthquake, San Francisco, 1906. A road lies on the far left while the two wheel chairs stand on the dusty sidewalk at center. The view of the back chair is obstructed by a large, wooden box which stands to the right of the front of the chair. Trees stand along the picket fence which runs against the far right. They continue down the sidewalk into the background where several small tables are dispersed among four additional chairs.
