Description
Photograph of Mount San Jacinto from the Devil's Playground in Palm Springs, ca.1900. There is a road cutting through the low desert brush and cactus and leading towards the mountains in the distance. The land is flat except for a far-off hill and, beyond that, Mount San Jacinto and some other large peaks. The mountains are topped with sparse snow. There are wispy clouds in the sky.
