Description
Photograph of the exteriors of squatters' huts in San Pedro that were torn down when the piers were pulled down, ca.1936. The huts are built on a pier, and are all simple buildings made of wood; there are six or seven clearly visible. There are two boats near the supports of the pier, and another boat in the foreground. The one in the foreground is a small sailboat with its sail stowed but still visible on the mast. The water is calm and unevenly reflects the image of the pier.
