Photograph of an exterior view of the New York Standard Oil Building at twenty-six Broadway, New York City, 1927. The building can be seen in the background at center, and is a large terraced-tower style building. In the foreground, the United States Custom House can be seen at right. Several other tall buildings can be seen at left. In the foreground, many people can be seen milling around a tree-lined park.; The caption on the image reads: "The New Standard Oil Building at 26 Broadway, New York City with the United States Custom House in he foreground. The Old Standard Oil Building has been made into one with the New Standard Oil Building and is considered one of the finest skyscrapers in New York, built in the new terraced tower style".

California Historical Society Collection, 1860-1960
Description
The California Historical Society Collection is incomparable for the documentary picture it provides of the growth of Southern California, particularly the development of the Los Angeles region, between 1860 and 1960. The collection contains more than 25,000 photographs. The full archive was placed on long-term deposit at USC in 1990 and includes the Title Insurance and Trust Company Collection, also known as TICOR, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Collection.
