Description
Photograph of the exterior of Lincoln High School, on North Broadway in Lincoln Heights, September 17, 1929. The stately school consists of three principal buildings -- a three-story main building at the head of a long flight of steps up a landscaped embankment, another smaller three-story building to the left, and an auditorium higher up the hill above the main building. Many palm trees grow in a cluster on the grounds as well as in a line along the street below. Mostly bare hills are visible behind. In the foreground are roofs of houses and trees across the street. Utility lines and poles line the street.
