Description
Photograph of the mercantile store and Volcano House in Volcano, ca.1930. To the right is the front side of a stone building with three iron doors as visible from an angle. Overhead is a wooden overhang propped up by two wood planks. Visible through this porch and to the left in the background is a three story white building with two balconies and a porch. A flag is visible hanging from the second story, and an automobile is parked in front of the building. A road runs from the left to the center in front of the first and second building. Trees are visible along the road. Photoprint reads: "The mercantile store with iron doors - and across the street - glistening with a new coat of white paint - is the Volcano House - one of the oldest three story buildings in the state".
