Description
Photograph of two men pulling themselves across the Alamo River on a cable strung high above, near Brawley, ca.1910. They are seated in a small wooden swing hanging from one cable as the pull on a lower one. Two small boats are moored near the shore at right. The cable extends to a cliff at left. A shadow of their crossing is cast in the river surface.
