Description
Photograph of a birdseye view of Hollywood Boulevard showing the Hotel Christie, [s.d.]. Hollywood Boulevard runs from the foreground at center to the background at right. Several two- and three-story buildings line the paved road, while  the tall tower of the Security First National Bank can be seen on a streetcorner in the foregroun. The bank building is eleven stories high and topped by a conical roof sectoin and an American flag. Many automobiles can be seen on the streets, and a streetcar can be seen at left.; Legible signs include, from left: "Hotel Hollywood", "Security First National Bank", "Robertson Company", "Monmarte", "Mini Café", "Hotel Christie", "Bank of America", and "Millers".

Title California Historical Society Collection, 1860-1960 
Description The California Historical Society Collection is incomparable for the documentary picture it provides of the growth of Southern California, particularly the development of the Los Angeles region, between 1860 and 1960. The collection contains more than 25,000 photographs. The full archive was placed on long-term deposit at USC in 1990 and includes the Title Insurance and Trust Company Collection, also known as TICOR, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Collection.
