Description
Photograph of the dilapidated San Digueito Rancho in Santa Fe, ca.1875. A figure stands with their back turned to the viewer, their hands placed on their hips. Farther in, a long, rancher-style adobe is shown, with a roof overhanging the porch, and much of the spackle worn away. None of the window panes or doors appear to be left in their frames, leaving the building full of gaping holes. The roof appears to be shingled. The lawn in the foreground is overgrown by tall sedge grass. Picture file card lists this building as belonging to J.M. Osuna.
