Description
Photograph of an exterior view of an abandoned building in Rancho Penasquitos, ca.1875. The L-shaped adobe building appears to be a ranch house, its windows partially boarded and its roof in disrepair. Portions of the spackle have come away in spots, and a second section, perhaps a shed, can be seen in the left background. Tall grass fills the extreme foreground.
