Description
Photograph of a panoramic view of a fleet of ships on the ocean in the far distance, Long Beach, 1908. In the distant background, nine small ships can be seen moving along the ocean. The sides of each ship are lightly-colored, and several smoke stacks can be seen from their decks. To the far left, smoke is visible emerging from several of the ships' smokestacks. The picture was from Long Beach at a distance. The dark, calm water  of the ocean meets with the cloudy sky in the horizon.
