Description
Photograph of a view of Soto Street, looking north toward Union Pacific Railroad tracks prior to underpass construction, February 1936. The paved lanes of Soto Street run through the center of the image, peppered by automobile traffic. Buildings of the Soto Welding Works sit to the right of the street, while small residential structures sit to its left. Union Pacific Railroad tracks cross the street near the horizon. This image depicts Soto street prior to the proposed grade separation under the railroad tracks.
