Description
Photograph of an exterior view of an old cabin in Dry Town, ca.1930. A squat shack is shown, made from planks, its roof a hodge-podge of shingles. The entrance is missing its door, just as the window has no glass. The ground in front is dry and suggests desert. Picture file card reads "This old cabin near Drytown was found papered with memo papers of 1890. In back was a caved-in mining shaft. Everything about the place told the story of abandoned life".
