Description
Photograph of water buffaloes, ca.1900. The darkly-colored water buffaloes stand in the calm water at center with their long, lightly-colored horns angled at the sky. Tall grass grows from the water and surrounds the buffalos on either side and behind them. Further back there is no grass, just smooth water. A grassy hillside is the bank in the background.
