Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Rancho Monserratte, shown from a distance, Fallbrook, 1870-1880. The back of an L-shaped adobe rancher is shown at center, the 90-degree joint to the left. The spackle of the building has come almost completely off, exposing the brick beneath. Mountains and tree tops, including palms, are visible in the background. The ground in front is flat and arid and covered in short scrub vegetation.
