Description
Photograph of barrel cacti in the Colorado desert of California, ca.1920. The cacti range in size from very small to several feet high, and all have very rounded tops. There are other desert plants mixed in with the cactus, and the ground that is not covered with foliage is covered by shale. There are thin wispy clouds in the sky.
