Description
Photograph of an oil field on the beach at Playa del Rey, [s.d.]. In the foreground, low waves rolling onto the beach can be seen. An operational oil field is visible running along the entirety of the beach - there are numerous oil wells with steam rising from them as well as a cluster of single-story buildings at the edge. In front of the buildings, a lone umbrella lies on the beach. In the middle, at right, a set of piers jutting out into the ocean can be seen.
