Description
Photograph of oil seep in a "blowout", Mexico(?), ca.1930. The oil is shooting straight up into the air and the wind carries it to the left. The oil derrick is about 75 feet high. A ladder proceeds up the side of it to the top which is completely obscured by the oil. A few trees and the roof of a building are visible at the bottom of the image.
