Photograph of John Wayne and Oliver Hardy posing with a group of men, [s.d.]. John Wayne can be seen at far left, standing with six other men, wearing light slacks, a medium tone sport coat, and a white shirt. Oliver Hardy can be seen standing with the group at far right, wearing a dark suit, white shirt, and dark tie, and he can be seen holding a dark hat in his left hand. Three more men in suits can be seen seated at a small square table in front of the standing group. T stack of papers can be seen on top of the table. The men can be seen wearing various styles of dress, from casual to more formal attire.

California Historical Society Collection, 1860-1960
Description
The California Historical Society Collection is incomparable for the documentary picture it provides of the growth of Southern California, particularly the development of the Los Angeles region, between 1860 and 1960. The collection contains more than 25,000 photographs. The full archive was placed on long-term deposit at USC in 1990 and includes the Title Insurance and Trust Company Collection, also known as TICOR, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Collection.
