Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Los Angeles Examiner building, [s.d.]. The street intersection takes up much of the foreground, and extends to a vanishing point on the horizon line, at left. Cable car tracks can be seen running along the center of the street. Utility lines and cable lines can be seen crisscrossing each other above the street. Several automobiles can be seen parked on both sides of the street. The Los Angeles Examiner building can be seen at center, behind a long wall covered with advertisement banners. The Building is a large, multilevel structure which features a tall minaret at each corner of the building. The word, "Examiner", can be read on two sides of the center tower on the building.; Legible signs include the following: "Los Angeles [...] office furniture", "Calume", "The Magic isles of the Pacific!", "Sam Seelig Company's annual '13' sale 1 can free with 12", "Beauty Secrets of Palmolive, palm and olive oils nothing else give palmolive its distinctive natural color..."keep that schoolgirl complexion", "Stewart bumpers give 100% protection life [...] car", "Tally's Broadway now showing John M. Stahl, 'The Dangerous Age".
