Photograph of the asperger in the Mission San Carlos, Carmel, [s.d.]. A decorated brass(?) container stands atop a wooden table at center, with a rod bearing a spherical tip laid across it. Abstract designs are etched into the base of the container. A hook, possibly for hanging the container, is visible on the top.
