Description
Photograph of a wide shot of Mission Santa Barbara, ca.1905. The mission stands at left, with an arched outdoor walkway at the base of a structure leading up to a building with a cross and two towers at right. In the foreground at left, several monks stand in a fenced garden area. Behind this, a small fountain shoots water into an octagonal-shaped pool. A large tree and an assortment of foliage can be seen behind this, while the mountains loom in the distance.
