Description
Photograph of a statue, Exposition Park, M.H. (Max) Whittier, [s.d.]. At center, the statue of a man dressed in a suit with his right hand in his pocket is visible. The statue is mounted on a block that is situated on what appears to be a lawn. Manicured hedges are visible behind the statue. In the background, a brick building with several archways and windows is visible. Directly behind the statue, a large window that opens out onto a balcony can be seen.; The negative sleeve reads: M.H. (Max) Whittier "A public spirited citizen whose unselfish life is commemorated in this statue by the many who were inspired by his example." 1867-1925.
