Description
Photograph of a Union Oil gusher shaking its siphon tower on Signal Hill in Long Beach, ca.1925. Crude oil bursts up through the ground in the center foreground and appears to be shattering some of the scaffolding of its oil siphon. Other oil siphons surround it to either side, while a small shack is situated below it.
