Description
Photograph of three workers loading or unloading packages of raw silk onto a ship, [s.d.]. A wooden pallet can be seen loaded with nine packages of silk in stacks of three stacks of three. It is partially inside a rectangular opening of the ship. One man can be seen standing at right with both of his hands grasping the rope attached to the pallet. He is wearing boots, jeans, and a long sleeved shirt. He appears to have tools in his back pockets. A second man wearing overalls can be seen standing to the left of the packages of silk with his left leg crossed over his right. He is looking towards the right and his hands are placed on the silk packages. A third man wearing a dirty "wifebeater" tank top is visible inside the ship and appears to be helping the pallet move into place.
