Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Western Air Express hangar in Alhambra, 1930. The hexagonal hangar is in the background at center. It is a large, light-colored building with wide openings on each of its six sides. The center of the building is held up by scaffolding. There are several large Ford Tri-Motor airplanes visible, including one entering the hangar at left and another leaving at right. The area in front of the hangar is flat and covered with dirt. Several sets of tire marks are visible on the ground.
