Description
Photograph of the Oakland camp of Spanish American War volunteers, ca.1898. The silhouette of a horse-driven carriage runs beneath a row of trees at left, and several structures stand in the background alongside several light-colored tents. In the foreground run what appear to be train tracks, followed by a grassy plot of land. The lines from utility poles float overhead.
