Photograph of metallic wreath with portrait on Hollywood Boulevard, showing Hollywood First National Bank in background, [s.d.]. At center, a small pole with a wide cylindrical base can be seen. The base of the pole has been painted with the design of a ribbon. The words "Santa Claus Lane" have also been painted onto the base of the pole. At the center of the pole, a large metallic wreath is visible. The wreath is dotted with small lights and holds large ribbon at its bottom. At the center of the wreath, the portrait of a smiling, young woman can be seen showing her head, shoulders, and arms. Above the wreath, a painted Christmas tree and two stars can be seen. Another wreath with a different picture is visible further in the background along the sidewalk. Further to the right, large buildings are visible, while parked cars can be seen to the left. In the background at left, the Hollywood First National Bank can be seen.

Title California Historical Society Collection, 1860-1960

Description The California Historical Society Collection is incomparable for the documentary picture it provides of the growth of Southern California, particularly the development of the Los Angeles region, between 1860 and 1960. The collection contains more than 25,000 photographs. The full archive was placed on long-term deposit at USC in 1990 and includes the Title Insurance and Trust Company Collection, also known as TICOR, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Collection.
