Description
Photograph of aviators Farnum Fish and Lincoln Beachey at the Dominguez Hills Air Meet, 1912. Two biplanes are aloft and are flying towards the camera at center. The lower plane is a Wright biplane with long canvas covered wings. The other plane is darker in color and is climbing slightly to the left. It is also a biplane and is smaller than the Wright. The dirt runway beneath the planes is completely flat, and there are several wooden buildings on the left side. A lone person is standing on the horizon at right.
