Photograph of a drawing by Edward Vischer depicting horsemen making their way around a cliff passage south of San Juan Capistrano, ca.1842-1876. Three cowboys make their way down a path in the foreground with what appears to be the ocean to their left and mountainous terrain to their right. A fourth cowboy does the same farther in the distance. Seagulls swarm overhead.
