Description
Photograph of the Kakuka sugar mill, in Hawaii, [s.d.]. A man and three children stand by a light-colored picket fence that runs through the foreground. The sugar mill appears in the background, at left, with a tall stack emerging from its roof and bales of sugar cane enter the plant from the leftmost side, and proceed around a moving belt that stretches right, and back again. In the foreground, thin trees stand around the fenced area, while the background is hazy.
