Description
Photograph of a group portrait of Alexandria Hotel bellmen and employees, ca.1920. A line of nine men can be seen sitting in chairs across center with their arms crossed in their laps. Fourteen men are visible standing in a line behind the seated men. The men all wear the same clothing of pants with pinstripes down the sides and button-down jackets reading "Biltmore" on their left upper-arms. All of the men are smiling or grinning, and most appear to be young men. A brick building can be seen directly behind the men with multiple widows and a fire escape ladder. A plant can be seen behind the men and in front of the building. Harvey Didelous was bell captain.
