Description
Photograph of an aerial view of flooding of the Arroyo Seco at Sycamore Grove, ca.1930. Dim water slices down the center of the city, washing lightly-colored structures against its banks in pieces. Dark buildings in the foreground appear to be in tact, but the bridge in front of them has been crumbled by the flood. The parks of winding, cement pathways and tennis courts on the left appear to be unharmed along with the roads which wind through the hills on the right. See also CHS-44249 .
