Description
Photograph of workers picking and loading oranges in an orchard at Riverside, ca.1900. A large horse-drawn cart is pictured at center, loaded with crates of oranges. In the background, orchard workers can be seen using ladders to pick the fruit down from the tops of squat trees. Farther right, men can be seen loading the oranges into crates. The roofs of several houses are visible in the far distance in front of the mountains.
