Description
Photograph of a distant view of an adobe ranch house in Pole Canyon near Fillmore, ca.1900. A one-story building standing to the right of a small wooden shed is visible at center. A door and window are visible on the building, while a dense group of trees including two palms grow behind the building. A makeshift fence composed of vertical sticks and horizontal wire runs in front of the building and front lawn. A person is visible laying down near the fence with a dog nearby. A dirt road runs horizontally across the bottom and continues towards the building from the left, while mountains are visible in the background.
