Description
Photograph of a painting by C.V. Swedblom, depicting a cowboy being thrown from a bucking horse, ca.1929. The horse faces the viewer and is in mid buck, tossing the cowboy's lassoe and hat into the air. Beneath the horse, the cowboy can be seen trying to twist out of the way of the horse's hooves. Vague shapes in the background suggest desert vegetation.
